The Consumer Unit is the main hub for all your electrics. It protects all your electrical appliances ensuring the right amount of electricity is sent to each circuit and preventing hazards and fires.

Many of the Consumer Units in the UK are now aged and deemed unsafe. While it may not currently present a hazard, it is always best to get it checked out by a Qualified Electrician, not only for your safety but for your homes electrical efficiency.
